What Will Students Do?
Students will work with their small group to get definitions for all four of their vocab words from their fellow members. Each group member was assigned a different word, so students will collaborate to understand each word.
Students will then begin to develop survey questions. Given their personal inquiries, each class will propose topics that they want to know from their peers. The goal is to develop a survey that can be distributed to students in the school to being our YPAR work.
What Will Teachers Do?
Teachers will facilitate the development of the survey. Through questioning and discussion, students will develop a set of questions that they want to propose to their classmates in order to generate data about school discipline and school culture.
